Sixth Form Admissions

Process

To apply for sixth form, please complete an application form using our new application system if you have not already done so:

Once you have completed an Application Form, you will need to log back into your application on GCSE Results Day on Thursday 24th August, before 4pm, and complete the Enrolment Form to officially register for sixth form. Once registered you will receive a welcome email with all of the starting information that you will need.

External students will need to upload a copy of their GCSE results, and a copy of their ID, such as a passport, please ensure you have electronic copies of these available to avoid any delays. Students will need a parent/guardian to sit with you to complete this form.

If you have not previously completed an application form, you can still sign up on/after results day by using the same application system, and completing the enrolment form.

Oversubscription

In the event that any subjects become full and we need to apply oversubscription criteria, we will do so after 4pm on GCSE results day, anyone registering after this point will not be included in the oversubscription list for any full subjects, and will be added to a waiting list. Therefore we advise that you apply before 4pm. A copy of our oversubscription process can be found here: Oversubscription Protocol A Level 2023 Entry

We are expecting that Business Studies, Economics, and Further Maths will be popular this year and may become oversubscribed.

Options blocks

​You can choose one subject from each block in the table below. 

Please log back into your application form and check that your subjects will fit together by selecting them in their blocks. (Go to ‘Step 5: Subject choices’ page to do this, where you will be able to see your previous subject selection, and now select these subjects in their option block and click ‘submit’ to save.)

If subjects do not fit, then unfortunately we will be unable to timetable that combination in September and you will need to make a change to your subject choices. Once you have selected your subjects again, click the submit button at the bottom of the page to save. You will receive a confirmation email.
