Applying from the Wirral
All candidates, whether local or from further afield, will sit the tests at a Wirral-based Grammar school. To participate, an Assessment Request Form must be completed by 31 May of Year 5. This form becomes available on 1 May.
After the 11+ results, if you reside within the Wirral Borough Council area, you should complete a Wirral Parental Preference Form by 31 October of Year 6. This form is accessible online via the Council’s website.
In your Local Authority admissions form, please list Calday Grange Grammar School as your top choice.
Applying from Outside Wirral
Applicants from Liverpool, Cheshire and North Wales should acquire a preference form from their primary school or local authority.
For those residing outside the Wirral Borough Council area, following the 11+ results, an application should be submitted to your local authority by 31 October of Year 6. This includes applicants from other parts of England and from Wales, who must also complete a Wirral Parental Preference Form online at www.wirral.gov.uk.
