Calday Grange Grammar School is delighted to announce that, following an accreditation visit by inspectors from High Performance Learning (HPL), the school has been awarded the prestigious HPL World Class Award.

High Performance Learning is an educational philosophy based on the research and work of Professor Deborah Eyre. Her approach is founded on the passionate belief that every child can achieve academic success and lead a life full of opportunity and fulfilment, regardless of their starting point.

This philosophy is centred on the understanding that learning is a science. Years of research into how people think and learn have concluded that what was once thought impossible is now possible: there are no limits to learning.

Receiving this award is a testament to the exceptional educational experience provided at Calday Grange Grammar School. The accreditation report praises the school, stating, “The ambition of the headteacher and the leadership team is replicated through the middle leaders, teachers and student body”.

Additionally, the report highlights, “what was particularly impressive is the belief of the student body that high performance is something that results from hard work. The more you put into the school – the more you get out”.

Calday Grange Grammar School’s commitment to HPL and the continuous development of high performance in education ensures that students receive an outstanding educational experience, preparing them for lifelong success.
