Bronze Award
A registration fee of £30 is payable via parentpay.com. Participants then receive a DofE handbook and access to a personal online account. A plan of activity is submitted online to the programme manager which must be approved before activity can commence.
Arrangements for expeditions will be issued before the Christmas break and are scheduled between April and June the following year. The exact dates and costs for next year’s expeditions are still to be confirmed, this year the cost was £180 but an increase is expected. Registration is open until expedition recruitment is completed.
Silver Award
A registration fee of £30 is payable via parentpay.com. Participants then receive a DofE handbook and access to a personal online account. A plan of activity is submitted to the programme manager which must be approved before activity can commence.

The exact dates and costs for next year’s expeditions are still to be confirmed, this year the cost was £245 but an increase is expected. Registration is open until expedition recruitment is completed.
Gold Award
A registration fee of £40 is payable via parentpay.com. Participants then receive a DofE handbook and access to a personal online account. A plan of activity is submitted to the programme manager which must be approved before activity can commence.
Arrangements for expeditions will be issued before the Christmas break and are scheduled for September and October the following year. The exact dates and costs for next year’s expeditions are still to be confirmed, this year the cost was £335 but an increase is expected. Registration is open until expedition recruitment is completed.
DofE SKILL AND VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
For students who have not yet decided what to do for the skill section of their awards, the following opportunities are available in school.
Cookery Programme (Skill) – Bronze
We offer students the opportunity to attend a 6 week cookery programme .
The programme will include food preparation and cooking skills as well as hygiene, health and safety, the course meets the requirements of the DofE SKILL section.
The programme runs on after school in the cookery suite between 3:40pm – 5:40pm. The cost of a 6 week course is £40 per student. Students provide their own ingredients.
If you would like your son to attend please email the DofE team who will arrange for the Cookery option to be added to your ParentPay account.
