Discover Calday
This event is all our discovery and usually peoples first open event they attend. It’s open to students in Year 4 and 5 and is held in the summer term.
From interactive science experiments and creative arts workshops to energetic sports challenges and engaging technology demonstrations, there’s something to spark the interest of every young mind.
Discover Calday is not just a visit; it’s a journey into the heart of our educational ethos where curiosity leads the way!

When it is?
This event usually takes place in the first week of July.
Open Evening
After you’ve discovered Calday, our annual Open Evening is the perfect place to visit. It’s more formal than Discover Calday. It’s a time to talk with subject teachers about the curriculum on offer, hear from the Headteacher and learn about the admissions process to join Calday.
Taking place in the first few weeks of September, it’s aimed at students in Year 5 and 6.
We still have fun, hands-on activities to take part in, but not as many as Discover Calday.

Sixth Form Open Evening
Aimed at both internal and external students, our Sixth Form Open Evening is the perfect event to learn about the courses on offer, support available, life in sixth form and much more.
For students in Year 11 it’s a must attend event to learn all about what makes Calday Sixth Form the perfect place to study.

This event is for those in Year 11.
When it is?
This event usually takes place in the first few weeks of November.
