Students in Year 11 and Year 13 marked the end of their time at Calday Grange Grammar School this week with a day of celebrations, memories, and well-earned moments of reflection before exams begin.

Year 13 – Fancy Dress and Farewells
Our Sixth Form students saw out their final day in true Calday fashion – arriving in creative and chaotic fancy dress, filling the school with colour, laughter and nostalgia. From superheroes to inflatable costumes, the energy was high as students enjoyed one last day together.

Year 11 – Shirts, Smiles and Shared Memories
Year 11 students gathered for their final day before GCSE exams begin. There was a real sense of pride and camaraderie as they took part in activities, signed each other’s shirts, and spent time with friends and teachers.

The day offered a chance to pause and acknowledge the end of an important chapter. Students reflected on their journey from nervous Year 7s to confident young people ready to take on their next steps.

A Message to Both Year Groups
To both Year 11 and Year 13 – thank you for the humour, the hard work, and the spirit you’ve brought to Calday. We are proud of everything you’ve achieved and the people you’ve become.

We wish you all the best in your upcoming exams and in whatever lies ahead. You’ll always be part of the Calday Community.
