In a stunning display of athletic prowess and teamwork, both the Junior and Senior cross-country teams made a remarkable showing in the semifinals of the prestigious English Schools Cross Country Cup, hosted at the scenic Sedbergh School in Yorkshire. Demonstrating exceptional endurance and skill, the Senior team impressively clinched 2nd place overall, while the Juniors were hot on their heels, securing a commendable 3rd place overall.

The races were highlighted by the outstanding performances of Alex Poulston and Tom Smout, star runners, who left the competition in their wake. Both athletes dominated their respective races, establishing sizeable leads and effortlessly maintaining them, showcasing their exceptional talent and training.

Their victories have propelled both teams to the much-anticipated English Finals, set to take place at the esteemed Woodbridge School in Suffolk on the 4th of December. Here, they will vie for the coveted title of the best cross-country school team in the nation.
