On Sunday 16th June, our Mountain Biking (MTB) Club embarked on an exhilarating adventure to Llandegla, catering to all levels of experience and skill. The club was divided into three distinct groups, each designed to provide a tailored experience for its members.

Group 1: New Riders
Our newest members formed Group 1, focusing on mastering the core basic skills of mountain biking. These eager riders spent the day learning essential techniques and building confidence under the guidance of our experienced instructors. Their enthusiasm and determination were truly inspiring, and we look forward to seeing their progress in future rides.

Group 2: Jumps and Bike Handling Master Class
Group 2 consisted of riders looking to refine their skills with a specific focus on jumps and bike handling. This master class was a fantastic opportunity for these riders to elevate their abilities, tackling challenging terrains and perfecting their technique. The day’s activities included a series of exercises and practical sessions, ensuring that every rider left with enhanced skills and a sense of accomplishment.

Group 3: Advanced Riders on Black Runs
The most experienced members of our club formed Group 3, taking on the demanding black runs of Llandegla. These trails are known for their difficulty, requiring advanced bike handling and a high level of endurance. Despite the challenging nature of the course, our riders tackled it with determination and skill, showcasing the high standards of our club’s top-tier athletes.

The trip to Llandegla was a resounding success, providing a day of learning, skill development, and thrilling adventure for all involved. We are proud of the dedication and passion displayed by our club members and look forward to many more exciting outings.
