Calday Grange Grammar School is proud to announce another year of strong GCSE results, showcasing the dedication and hard work of its students and staff. This year, the school saw a rise in its Ebacc entry rate, which increased to an impressive 86.8%, up from last year, highlighting the school’s commitment to providing a broad and balanced education.

Students demonstrated their strong academic abilities once again, with 43.3% of all grades awarded within the top 9-7 range, a clear reflection of the school’s high standards. Additionally, 85.4% of students achieved grades between 9 and 5, confirming the school’s commitment to nurturing and developing the potential of each student.

Headteacher Mr Stephen Gray expressed his pride in this year’s results, stating, “I am immensely proud of our students’ achievements. There are some excellent individual grades and it was so nice to see so many happy faces this morning and proud parents/carers.

Our progress figure remains strong and demonstrates our ongoing commitment to providing academic excellence and a well-rounded education. Our students have performed exceptionally well, and I have every confidence in their future success.”

Mr Gray also extended his thanks to the dedicated staff and supportive parents and carers, adding, “Our collective effort has enabled our students to reach their full potential, and I am grateful for the hard work and support that underpins these successes.”
