On Wednesday, 28th January, Calday Grange Grammar School hosted its very first fencing competition, where our talented fencers went head-to-head with North Liverpool Academy in what was a thrilling series of bouts. This landmark event marked a significant milestone in the development of fencing at Calday, and the outcome was nothing short of exhilarating.

Calday’s Team 1 set the tone for the day with a commanding victory over North Liverpool Academy. With a scoreline of 45-25, Calday Team 1 showcased impressive technique and teamwork. Their determination and skill left no doubt that Calday’s fencing program is on the rise.

The second match was a nail-biter, with Calday’s Team 2 narrowly losing to North Liverpool Academy 26-24.
