A group of Year 8 and Year 9 students have been connecting with the past through an art project at Caldy Manor Residential Home. The initiative saw the students spending time with elderly residents, listening to stories from their lives and gaining unique insights into their experiences.

Inspired by these conversations, the students created a series of drawings reflecting the lives and memories shared by the residents. This week, they returned to Caldy Manor to present their artworks to the residents, creating a heartwarming moment of connection between generations.

The project not only encouraged creativity but also fostered empathy and understanding among the students, while giving the residents a chance to share and celebrate their personal histories.
